Member of the Senedd for South East Wales, Natasha Asghar, visited Dogs Trust Cardiff last week (Thursday 10th February) and was greeted by wagging tails from the pooches looking for new homes.
It was Natasha’s first ever tour of Dogs Trust’s newest rehoming centre in Cardiff, where she met a number of dogs currently awaiting their forever homes as well as Boris, our Springer Spaniel sponsor dog!
Following the visit Dogs Trust Cardiff, said:
“We were delighted to welcome Natasha to our rehoming centre to show her the work we do for the dogs in our care. Like all of us at Dogs Trust Cardiff, it is wonderful that Natasha also cares so deeply about animal welfare and it was a fantastic opportunity to show her the hard work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes to prepare dogs for their forever homes.”
Natasha Asghar MS, commented:
“I really enjoyed visiting Dogs Trust Cardiff, and it is fantastic to see how hard the staff work to ensure that all of the dogs in their care are incredibly well looked after. I was impressed by the passion and enthusiasm that Dogs Trust staff have for the well-being of their canine residents and the way they go above and beyond to rehome so many unwanted dogs across South Wales and beyond.”

Ymwelodd yr Aelod o’r Senedd dros Dde-ddwyrain Cymru, Natasha Asghar, â Dogs Trust Caerdydd wythnos diwethaf (dydd Iau 10 Chwefror) a chafodd groeso gynnes gan y cŵn sy’n chwilio am gartref newydd.
Dyma’r tro cyntaf i Natasha ymweld â chanolfan ailgartrefu newydd y Dogs Trust yng Nghaerdydd, ble cyfarfu â nifer o gŵn sy’n aros am eu cartref oes yn ogystal â Boris y Springer Spaniel, ein ci nawdd!
Ar ôl yr ymweliad, dywedodd Dogs Trust Caerdydd:
“Roeddem yn falch iawn o groesawu Natasha i’n canolfan ailgartrefu i ddangos y gwaith rydym yn ei wneud ar gyfer y cŵn dan ein gofal. Fel pawb ohonom yn Dogs Trust Caerdydd, mae’n wych bod Natasha hefyd yn poeni cymaint am les anifeiliaid ac roedd yn gyfle gwych i ddangos y gwaith caled a’r ymroddiad y tu ôl i’r llenni i baratoi cŵn ar gyfer eu cartrefi oes.”

“Fe wnes i fwynhau ymweld â Dogs Trust Caerdydd yn fawr, ac mae’n wych gweld pa mor galed mae’r staff yn gweithio i sicrhau bod yr holl gŵn dan eu gofal yn cael gofal o’r safon uchaf. Roeddwn i’n llawn edmygedd o angerdd a brwdfrydedd staff y Dogs Trust am les y cŵn a’r ffordd maen nhw’n mynd yr ail filltir i ailgartrefu cymaint o gŵn digartref ar draws y De a thu hwnt.”
