Natasha Asghar, Senedd Member for South East Wales and shadow Minister for Technology, has praised the ground breaking technology to improve people’s wellbeing she discussed during a visit to Forth in Chepstow.
Forth is an innovative biomarker tracking platform which helps people navigate their way to better health through blood samples.
This is done by measuring and tracking key biomarkers in the body which are essential to good health, alongside an intuitive person health dashboard which supports people on how to improve.
During her visit, Natasha Asghar saw Forth’s ground breaking technology into female hormone health.
The company has recently been voted into the Healthtech top 50 list of innovators.
Natasha Asghar said:
“it was a delight to visit Forth and to see for myself the fantastic and innovative research they are doing to promote healthy lifestyles and well-being.”
“It gave me the opportunity to congratulate Forth’s Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Bolt, on winning the Health & Wellbeing Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Wales at last year’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards.”
“Female entrepreneurs are a small but growing breed and the number of female entrepreneurs in tech is even lower.”
“It was truly inspirational to see how by a simple to use kit people can make the changes necessary to enhance and improve their health and wellbeing.”
“I am grateful to Sarah Bolt and Chris Baines for an fascinating visit and would like to see the Welsh Government commit to making South East Wales a tech hub to enable more companies like Forth to set up here providing high value jobs and investment.”
