Local Senedd Member Natasha Asghar MS heard about ambitious plans for development recently on a visit to Ponthir Sports and Community Club.
Natasha was welcomed to Ponthir by Club Secretary, John Parfitt, and Treasurer, Tony Pead.
During the visit, Natasha congratulated the club on its successful fundraising efforts that enabled them to bury overhead power cables.
She then heard about ambitious plans to develop the club, which include a new sports pavilion, a multi-use games area and a new football pitch meeting Gwent League standards.

“It was wonderful to visit Ponthir Sports and Community Club to hear about their ambitious plans to develop and improve the facilities they provide for their locality.”
